Today is Leonor's birthday - so let's wish her all and only the very best for everything's that's to come for her in 2009. I really hope she spends this special day with her loved ones and has a great time. smile

Concerning site updates, I've been a busy bee and uploaded the promised clips from 'The Tailor Of Panama'. You can download them in our video archive (it has really grown, hasn't it? wink).


Furthermore I uploaded some HQs from the "The Spirit" Premiere and 2 new events (new meaning that we didn't have any images from them before): the D&G Flagship Boutique Opening and the 2nd Annual H.E.L.P. Malawi Fundraising Event. Enjoy the new additions everyone! smile

26 Dec 2008 "Voces Inocentes" DVD captures
I finally took the time to capture one of my favourite movies with Leonor, the touching anti-war drama Voces Inocentes (Innocent Voices). Even after having seen it a few times it still loses nothing of its intensity - it's definitely a must-see for everyone who's interested in Latin American history (and the one of El Salvador in particular). And let's not forget about Leonor's stunning performance as Kella either! She really did a wonderful job here.

19 Dec 2008 "Donde Dios Dejó sus Zapatos" dará un toque humano
En plena crisis económica mundial, esta cinta aborda el drama que muchas familias a lo largo del mundo están padeciendo en estos días, como son la cesantía, la falta de recursos y el no tener una casa para vivir.

Leonor Varela sorprende nuevamente. La actriz chilena protagoniza "Donde Dios Dejó sus Zapatos" junto al destacado actor John Leguizamo (colombiano-estadounidense).

En plena crisis este film económica mundial recuerda el drama latente de millones de personas alrededor del mundo, como son: la cesantía, la escasez de recursos y el no tener una casa para vivir.

Varela interpreta a Ángela la esposa de un angustiado Frank Díaz (John Leguizamo) ex boxeador, quien no encuentra trabajo.

Al respecto la actriz reflexiona: "Es una historia con mucho corazón y esperanza. Acepté inmediatamente el papel que me ofreció Salvatore Stabil, pues sentí un vínculo muy profundo con esta mujer. La he visto en muchos rostros de mujeres latinoamericanas. Ella nunca deja de amar a su familia, es el pilar que los mantiene unidos, en medio de la miseria que los rodea, como es no tener una casa para vivir ni recursos para comer". (Read more...)
